12 Killed and 3 Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon

Doha: Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on eastern and southern Lebanon today, killing 12 people and injuring three others. Israeli artillery shelling also targeted several towns in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts of southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, parts of the southern suburbs of Beirut saw an influx of displaced residents following Israeli threats to expand attacks in the country. The situation has led to growing concerns over the safety and security of residents in the affected areas.

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reports that the cumulative toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 3,185 dead and 9,633 injured. This data highlights the ongoing impact of the conflict on the Lebanese population.

The Israeli entity continues its attacks on southern Lebanon despite a truce agreement that went into effect on April 16 and was extended for a second time on May 15 for a period of 45 days. The persistence of these attacks has raised growing warnings over deteriorating security and humanitarian conditions in the region.
