Doha: Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) has confirmed that an Iranian drone attack targeted the air navigation systems within the country's Flight Information Region (FIR). Despite the attack, operations remained unaffected.

According to Qatar News Agency, CAA stated that the competent authorities had swiftly begun managing the incident in line with the approved operational and security procedures. Essential measures were taken to ensure the continuity of navigation services and the safety of air traffic.

The regulator emphasized that flights and air traffic transiting the FIR are operating normally. They are continuously monitoring developments and maintaining coordination with international organizations and relevant authorities.
