Civil defense teams were able today, Sunday, to extinguish a large fire that engulfed commercial complexes specialized in selling wholesale food in the Jabal area in central Hillah without injuries.

Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah said, “Civil defense teams were able today, Sunday, to extinguish a large fire that engulfed commercial complexes specialized in selling wholesale food in the Jabal area in central Hillah.

He added that the police have opened an investigation to determine the causes of the fire.
