Child Among 18 Injured in Russian Attacks on Ukraine’s Kharkiv Region

Kyiv: Ukrainian authorities announced Monday that 18 people, including a young girl, were injured in an attack launched by Russian forces targeting Ukraine's Kharkiv region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that 18 individuals were injured, with two of them being from different areas. A five-year-old girl was among those affected by the attack.

Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, experienced a significant missile and drone assault. In a separate area, private homes, an annex building, a vehicle, and a warehouse sustained damage.

Since the outbreak of the war on February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have provided almost daily updates on the progress of the fighting and the areas impacted. However, due to the ongoing conflict and the nature of the warfare, verifying claims and statements made by both sides remains challenging.
