Doha: The Consultative Sessions on the National Human Rights Action Plan (2026-2030) have continued in Doha. The sessions are organized by the National Committee for the Preparation of the National Human Rights Action Plan, chaired by HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.
According to Qatar News Agency, Monday's consultative session was hosted by HE Secretary-General of the National Planning Council Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa. The session addressed several topics relevant to the council's purview, along with suggestions and orientations to support the preparation of the plan, aiming to enhance its alignment with national policies and legislation.
Upon wrapping up the session, the importance of this action plan as a national framework that fosters the protection of human rights was emphasized.
