Beirut: The General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (DAMAN), in cooperation with the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), launched a financial awareness initiative on Monday for its subscribers. The initiative aims to enhance financial literacy and promote the concepts of financial planning and early retirement preparation, thereby contributing to the long-term financial stability of individuals throughout their professional careers.
According to Qatar News Agency, running from June 15 to 17, the program features a select group of specialists and experts in financial planning and management. The initiative forms part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to raise awareness of social insurance mechanisms and better prepare subscribers for future financial obligations.
The initiative is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to make informed and sustainable financial choices, enhancing their ability to plan effectively across various career and retirement phases.
The program includes three specialized training workshops tailored to participants at different stages of their professional lives. These sessions focus on boosting financial planning and management skills, reinforcing saving and investment concepts, and improving financial readiness for retirement.
Supported by QNB Group as the strategic sponsor and Al Rayan Bank as the platinum sponsor, the initiative highlights the vital role of partnerships between national institutions in driving community development. It also seeks to advance financial and insurance literacy among individuals, aligning with the state's vision to build a more informed and future-ready society.
