Sochi: An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale has hit the city of Sochi, southern Russia.

According to Qatar News Agency, the regional emergency services said in a statement, “An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred.” It added that the earthquake did not cause any damage to infrastructure, no injuries were reported, and all supply services are operating normally.

At the beginning of this year, the city of Sochi experienced a series of earthquakes.
