Doha:Gold prices in Qatar decreased by 1.17% this week, reaching $4,145.64110 per ounce on Thursday, continuing a drop from $4,195.08550 recorded on Sunday. This information was released by Qatar National Bank (QNB).

According to Qatar News Agency, the decline in gold prices was mirrored by significant losses in other precious metals. Silver prices saw a sharp decrease of 8.09%, dropping to $55.93000 per ounce from $60.85520 at the beginning of the week.

Similarly, platinum prices fell by 4.76%, retreating to $1,612.45000 per ounce from $1,693.08910 recorded on Sunday.
