Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq Masrour Barzani and his delegation on Wednesday at Lusail Palace. The visit was to offer condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

According to Qatar News Agency, the reception included the presence of several high-profile figures. Among those attending were HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and other distinguished members of the Al-Thani family. Additionally, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Shura Council Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim were also in attendance.

The gathering was further attended by a number of Their Excellencies the sons of the late Father Amir and Their Excellencies the Sheikhs, who joined in marking their respects during this period of mourning.
