Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta, on the death of former President Francisco Guterres.

According to Qatar News Agency, the cable expressed HH the Amir's sympathies and support to the leadership and people of Timor-Leste during this time. The message conveyed heartfelt condolences and the Amir's thoughts are with the family of Francisco Guterres.
