Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza Escalate Tensions, Resulting in Fatalities and Injuries

Gaza city: Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City on Wednesday killed two Palestinians and injured others.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that a citizen was killed and others were injured due to shelling by an Israeli drone targeting a civilian vehicle near the Islamic University west of Gaza City. Another citizen succumbed to wounds sustained earlier in the day from shelling by an Israeli drone on Al Ayoun Street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, which had initially resulted in one death and several injuries.

The sources further noted that additional injuries occurred after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb at the Shujaiyya intersection, east of Gaza City.

This latest series of attacks increases the death toll from Israeli shelling in various areas of the Gaza Strip to 10 since this morning, further contributing to the number of injuries.

Health authorities in the Strip announced that the overall death toll from Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,110, with 173,599 injured.
