Israeli Forces Shoot and Arrest Palestinian Man at Military Checkpoint

Bethlehem: A young Palestinian man was shot in the thigh Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces before being arrested at the military checkpoint between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), quoting the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), reported that its crews treated the wounded man and provided him with necessary first aid at the scene. However, occupation soldiers forced the crew to transfer him to the checkpoint, where he was arrested inside the ambulance.

This incident comes amidst escalating daily incursions and attacks by occupation forces and settlers on cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. These incursions include raids and incursions accompanied by clashes, arrests, and the firing of live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas canisters at Palestinians, in addition to attacks on their property.
