Jordan: Jordan's Armed Forces announced Thursday that they intercepted and shot down eight missiles launched from Iran toward the kingdom. A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces, quoted by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), confirmed that Jordan's air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed the missiles aimed at the country. The source mentioned that debris from the interceptions fell in several areas, but fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported.
According to Qatar News Agency, the source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces are closely monitoring ongoing regional developments and remain at the highest level of readiness. They stressed that any violation of Jordanian airspace by any party will not be tolerated, underscoring their commitment to safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and security.
