Amman: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met in Amman on Wednesday with Acting Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Christian Saunders. The meeting centered on reinforcing UNRWA's efforts to continue delivering essential services to Palestinian refugees across its five operational regions.

According to Qatar News Agency, Safadi highlighted the vital role of the agency and the necessity of providing it with the required support to consistently fulfill its responsibilities as mandated by the UN. He reaffirmed UNRWA's crucial role in delivering basic services to Palestinian refugees.
