Manama: King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a phone call from President of the European Council Antonio Costa.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, Bahrain's King emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the European Union. This collaboration aims to support security and stability in both the region and globally.

Costa highlighted that diplomacy and dialogue are the optimal paths to achieving security and stability. He stressed the significance of ongoing efforts to support diplomatic solutions and ensure the security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which is vital for enhancing both regional and international security and stability.
