Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index losing 114.02 points, reaching 8,610.49 points, marking a decrease of 1.31 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session recorded a volume of 401.2 million shares valued at KWD 93.8 million, approximately USD 305.8 million, conducted via 27,948 transactions. The Main Market Index decreased by 113.26 points, settling at 8,592.38 points, representing a decline of 1.30 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 259.8 million shares in 13,869 transactions, valued at KWD 36.9 million, roughly USD 120.3 million.
The Premier Market Index also experienced a drop, losing 120.10 points to end at 9,061.17 points, down by 1.31 percent. This index saw 141.3 million shares traded through 14,079 transactions, with a total value of KWD 56.9 million, equivalent to approximately USD 185.5 million.
Moreover, the Bourse Main 50 Index saw a significant decline, losing 249.04 points to close at 9,535.96 points, a drop of 2.55 percent. The trading volume for this index was 217.4 million shares, executed in 10,210 deals, with a total value of KWD 30 million, approximately USD 97.8 million.
