Baku:Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index gaining 47.33 points, reaching a total of 8,477.17 points, marking an increase of 0.56 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw 219.5 million shares valued at KWD 62.6 million (approximately USD 192.18 million) exchanged through 15,858 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 58.91 points to hit 8,471.26 points, up by 0.70 percent, with 99.4 million shares traded in 7,435 transactions valued at KWD 15.9 million (around USD 48.8 million).

The Premier Market Index added 47.34 points, reaching 8,919.02 points, up 0.53 percent, with 120.18 million shares transacted in 8,423 deals, amounting to KWD 46.7 million (approximately USD 143.3 million). Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index gained 92.78 points to reach 9,430.45 points, a 0.99 percent increase, with a stock volume of 90.5 million shares completed in 6,030 deals at a value of KWD 14.3 million (about USD 43.9 million).
