Taipei:Kuwait's crude oil price experienced a significant drop of USD 8.14 per barrel, settling at USD 86.21 during trading on Thursday. This reflects a decrease from the previous day's price of USD 94.35, as confirmed by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the global oil market showed contrasting trends. Brent crude futures witnessed an increase of USD 3.67, reaching USD 98.29 per barrel. Similarly, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures saw a rise of USD 2.40, climbing to USD 90.52 per barrel.
