Beirut: The State of Qatar and the Lebanese Republic have discussed further bilateral cooperation and the latest regional developments. HE Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic Nawaf Salam held talks on Tuesday in Beirut with HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the country, to explore ways to strengthen bilateral relations across multiple avenues and review the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE Salam praised the State of Qatar's unwavering support for Lebanon and its people. Meanwhile, HE the ambassador reiterated Doha's backing for the security and stability of Lebanon.
