Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 am on Thursday will be hazy to misty at places later, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be misty to foggy at places, the report added, warning of expected poor horizontal visibility, strong wind and high sea later.
According to Qatar News Agency, winds inshore will be northeasterly to northwesterly at speeds of 05 to 15 knots. Offshore, winds will be mainly northwesterly ranging from 08 to 18 knots, with gusts reaching up to 28 knots at times.
The sea state inshore is expected to be between 1 to 4 feet, rising to 5 feet at times, while offshore conditions will range from 2 to 5 feet, potentially rising to 9 feet at times. Visibility inshore is projected to be between 4 to 9 kilometers, decreasing to 2 kilometers or less at certain places by late night. Offshore visibility will also range from 4 to 9 kilometers, reducing to 1 kilometer or less by late night.
