Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) launched the activities of the student activity centers for the summer of 2026, under the theme 'invest their summer in creativity.'
According to Qatar News Agency, the MOEHE stated that the events, which will continue until August 3, aim to provide an enjoyable and comprehensive educational experience during the summer vacation. These activities are designed to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for students in cooperation with a select group of strategic partners in the country.
The MOEHE indicated that the centers have started receiving students with diverse programs and interactive activities aimed at refining their creative and cognitive skills. The events are held daily from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, targeting age groups from 6 to 18 years, including government school students, Qatari students in private schools, and students with special needs. An independent center has been fully equipped to meet the requirements of students with special needs.
The ministry explained that the activities are distributed across five summer centers that were carefully selected for easy access. These include Al Wakra and Khalifa Secondary Schools for boys, Al Khor and Amna Bint Wahab Secondary Schools for girls, and Al Hidayah School for Special Needs in the Al Hilal area for boys.
The MOEHE affirmed that these efforts are part of its strategy to build an integrated educational system. This system supports the comprehensive development of students and contributes to achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 by enhancing human capital and enabling generations to face future challenges with confidence and competence.
