Phil Foden Signs New Manchester City Deal Until 2030

Doha: Phil Foden has signed a new contract with Manchester City that will keep the England midfielder at the Premier League club until 2030.

According to Qatar News Agency, the 26-year-old's previous deal had been due to expire in the summer of 2027, but City announced on Wednesday that he had agreed to a four-year extension. Foden expressed his delight in a club statement, emphasizing his eagerness to continue his journey with Manchester City.

A product of City's academy, Foden joined the club at the age of nine and progressed through the youth ranks before making his senior debut under Pep Guardiola in 2017. Since then, he has become one of the most decorated players in the club's history, securing 20 major trophies. His honors include six Premier League titles, five League Cups, three FA Cups, three Community Shields, as well as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.

City stated that the new agreement reflects Foden's long-term commitment to the club, where he has spent his entire professional career.
