Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. The conversation centered on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Russia, while addressing key regional and international issues, including the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis.

According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue included Qatar’s efforts in mediating to reunite families separated by the conflict. The call also covered the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, the Occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to supporting international endeavors for a peaceful resolution to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and diplomatic methods.
