Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Ayman Safadi. The conversation was centered around enhancing bilateral cooperation and supporting mediation initiatives in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders discussed ongoing Pakistani efforts to mediate between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to support these mediation activities, which are aimed at de-escalating tensions and promoting regional security and stability.

During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted the necessity for all involved parties to engage with the mediation process. He stressed that this engagement could facilitate addressing the root causes of the conflict through peaceful dialogue, ultimately leading to a sustainable agreement that forestalls further escalation.
