Qatar: Qatar's Department of Meteorology has issued a warning regarding strong winds and high waves in northern offshore areas as the country experiences continued hot daytime conditions. The department's daily forecast indicates that coastal weather will remain hot until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, transitioning to relatively moderate conditions by night, while offshore conditions are expected to remain clear.
According to Qatar News Agency, northwesterly winds on the coast are anticipated to range from 5 to 15 knots, with gusts potentially reaching up to 22 knots during the daytime. At sea, winds will be primarily northwesterly, with speeds of 6 to 16 knots and gusts reaching up to 23 knots in northern areas at certain times. Coastal wave heights are predicted to be between one and three feet, occasionally rising to five feet in the northern regions. Offshore, wave heights are expected to range from two to four feet, potentially increasing to as high as seven feet in the northern areas at times.
The forecast further specifies that visibility onshore is expected to range from five to 10 kilometers, while at sea it will be between five and nine kilometers. Doha is predicted to record a high temperature of 42 degrees Celsius. The report also includes tidal timings for various regions across the country, with sunset anticipated at 6:17 pm local time.
