Manama: The State of Qatar actively participated in the 9th Extraordinary Meeting of the Undersecretaries of Industry of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which took place in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Leading the Qatari delegation was Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs and Business Development, Saleh bin Majid Al Khulaifi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing industrial cooperation among GCC member states. Key topics included the Oman-Kuwait proposal on localization standards across industrial sectors and the implementation plan for goods subject to collective protection. Participants reviewed these proposals and implementation mechanisms, making necessary decisions and recommendations to advance industrial collaboration within the region.
