Qatar Engages in Preparations for 6th Arab-European Ministerial Meeting

Cairo: The State of Qatar participated Monday in the Arab coordination meeting at the level of permanent delegates to the Arab League, held at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Cairo. The meeting focused on discussing and following up on the preparations for the 6th Arab-European ministerial meeting, scheduled for June 22-23 in Amman, Jordan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the State of Qatar's delegation was led by HE Ambassador Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al-Thani, Qatar's Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States. During the meeting, the permanent representatives of the Arab member states were updated on the preparations for the Sixth Arab-European Ministerial Meeting and discussed the declaration to be adopted at the meeting.

The Sixth Arab-European Ministerial Meeting in Amman is part of ongoing efforts by both Arab states and European Union member states to enhance joint cooperation mechanisms.
