Baku:Qatar Foundation's Pre-University Education, through the Education Development Institute, organized the Teaching and Learning Forum 2026 under the theme "Teaching with Purpose Rooted in Culture and Values, Shaping the Future."

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum, led by the Education Development Institute, aimed to advance professional learning and development among educators, encouraging the exchange of expertise and innovative teaching practices. It emphasized the critical role educators play in enhancing learning experiences and preparing future generations.

The event brought together 1,974 educators and featured 28 specialized workshops. Experts and practitioners from Qatar Foundation and schools across Qatar participated, covering topics such as innovative teaching approaches, technology integration, assessment methods, and student engagement. These workshops showcased successful practices aimed at improving education quality and learning outcomes.

As part of the PUE Forum 2026, the event served as a platform for professional networking and knowledge sharing, allowing participants to discuss educational challenges and explore solutions. It highlighted the importance of embedding culture and values in teaching practices and fostering lifelong learning for professional growth.

Sara Rashid Al Kuwari, Director of EDI, emphasized investing in educators and creating opportunities for knowledge exchange to make a lasting impact on learners. Marwa Bkairat, Associate Director of Academic Development at EDI, noted that the forum inspired educators by strengthening professional connections and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Elsa Moghabghab, Associate Director of Business Development at EDI, highlighted the forum's strength in bringing educators together to exchange experiences and enrich ideas, enhancing their collective ability to impact students' learning journeys positively.
