Qatar National Bank Announces New Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has unveiled its updated deposit rates for various currencies, reflecting fluctuations in the global financial markets as of Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the newly issued deposit rates for USD range from 3.64670% for a 1-month deposit to 3.96662% for a 12-month deposit. The Japanese Yen (JPY) remains steady at 0.95000% for deposits up to 6 months, with a slight increase to 1.25000% for a 12-month term. The Swiss Franc (CHF) shows a progression from -0.05000% for a 1-month deposit to 0.20000% for a 12-month deposit. The British Pound (GBP) deposit rates start at 3.76000% for 1 month and rise to 4.31000% for 12 months.

In terms of local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposit rate is set at 4.03340% for a 1-month term and decreases to 3.75000% for a 12-month deposit. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) and Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates show consistency with rates between 4.30000% to 4.85000% across different tenures. Meanwhile, the UAE Dirham (AED) rates progress from 2.05000% for a 1-month deposit to 3.15000% for a 12-month term.

These rates reflect QNB's response to current financial trends and are set to guide investors and depositors in making informed decisions concerning their savings and investments.
