Qatar National Bank Releases Updated Deposit Rates for Multiple Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced the latest deposit rates across several currencies, effective as of Monday. The rates span across different durations, ranging from one month to twelve months, for currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates start at 3.74340% for a one-month term, gradually increasing to 4.16619% for a twelve-month term. For the Japanese Yen (JPY), the rates are consistent for most terms, with a notable increase for a twelve-month duration at 1.40000%.

The Swiss Franc (CHF) shows negative rates for shorter terms, starting at -0.18000% for one month and moving into positive territory at 0.20000% for a twelve-month deposit. The British Pound (GBP) rates start at 3.67000% for one month and rise to 4.54000% for a twelve-month term.

For local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) begins at 4.00000% for a one-month deposit, decreasing slightly over longer terms to 3.75000% for a twelve-month period. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) maintains a steady increase from 4.50000% for a one-month deposit to 4.60000% for a twelve-month term.

The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) rates start at 2.05000% for a one-month term, with a steady increase to 3.15000% for a twelve-month deposit. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates begin at 4.60000% for a one-month deposit and rise to 4.85000% for a twelve-month term.
