Qatar Society of Engineers Hosts Forum on AI in Facilities Management

Doha: The Qatar Society of Engineers, in collaboration with the Qatar Scientific Club, organized a forum focusing on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing facilities management through improved operation and maintenance processes.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum explored significant themes related to the future of facilities management, including the transition from traditional maintenance practices to predictive maintenance, the application of AI technologies in asset and facility management, and strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing equipment breakdowns. Discussions also delved into the future of smart facility management within modern institutions.

The forum featured a discussion session led by Eng. Saud Abdullah Al Dulaimi, Secretary-General and Board Member of the Qatar Society of Engineers. Speakers emphasized the importance of digital transformation in evolving the facilities management sector, highlighting the role of modern technologies in boosting performance efficiency and sustainability. The session included insights from a variety of experts and specialists in facilities management, AI, and maintenance operations.

Eng.
