Doha:Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed on Wednesday with a rise of 63.52 points, or 0.69 percent, finishing at 9,214.35.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a volume of 221,108,654 shares, accumulating a turnover of QAR 506,066,420.512 through 37,654 transactions spanning across all sectors.

The session saw the shares of 21 companies advance, while 28 companies experienced declines, and three companies maintained their previous closing prices. Market capitalization increased to QAR 559,849,145,961.330, up from QAR 557,281,379,597.364 in the previous session.
