Qatar Stock Index Closes Lower Amid Broad Decline

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded Thursday's trading session on a lower note, declining by 85.58 points, equivalent to a drop of 0.84%, to settle at 10,090.57 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a total of 110,559,177 shares changing hands, amounting to a trading value of QR 292,028,948.030, conducted through 24,290 transactions across various sectors. The market activity resulted in 11 companies witnessing an increase in their share prices, while 41 companies experienced a decline, and one company remained unchanged.

The market capitalization at the end of the trading session stood at QR 609,317,359,405.676, decreasing from QR 614,141,218,482.338 recorded in the previous session, reflecting the day's downward trend in the market.
