Dawood completed the race in 47.72 seconds, finishing behind Brazilian athlete Alison dos Santos, who won the race with a time of 47.18 seconds, and Jamaican Rashawn Clarke, who came in second with a time of 47.63 seconds. In the 100m race, American sprinter Noah Lyles, a three-time world champion, claimed victory with his personal best time in the London meet and the third-fastest time in the event this year.
