Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 0.84% at the start of Monday's trading, losing 86.67 points to reach 10,218 points, compared to the previous session's closing.
According to Qatar News Agency, the market was weighed down by declines in all sectors: Telecoms (-0.19%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.44%), Insurance (-0.52%), Real Estate (-0.68%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.89%), Industrials (-0.91%), and Transportation (-1.28%).
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 3,508 transactions worth QR 54.678 million, distributed across 25.959 million shares.
