QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 76.87 points, or 0.76%, at the start of Thursday's trading, down to 10,099 points, under pressure from all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed declines in the sectors of Insurance (-0.27%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.41%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.72%), Telecoms (-0.74%), Real Estate (-0.78%), Industrials (-0.86%), and Transportation (-1.07%).

At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 2,614 transactions worth QR 45.713 million, distributed across 22.497 million shares.
