Doha: Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz engaged in a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, Anas Khattab, to discuss bilateral relations and enhance cooperation and security coordination between their respective interior ministries. The dialogue also focused on issues of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers addressed the latest security developments in Syria, with particular attention given to the recent bombing in Damascus. The Saudi interior minister reiterated Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the attack and conveyed the Kingdom's solidarity with Syria in combating violence, extremism, and terrorism. Additionally, he affirmed Saudi Arabia's unwavering support for Syria's security and stability.
