Hurghada: A tourist submarine sank off the Egyptian resort town of Hurghada, resulting in the deaths of six Russian tourists.

According to Qatar News Agency, the recreational submarine was carrying 45 tourists on an underwater cruise to view the coral reef in the Red Sea. The tragic incident led to the immediate rescue of the remaining tourists.

Out of the survivors, 29 individuals were transferred to hospitals for treatment. Authorities have begun investigations to determine the cause of the accident.
