Hong kong: Team Qatar's young athletes won two medals - one silver and one bronze - on Sunday, the final day of the Asian U20 Athletics Championships held here in Hong Kong. According to Qatar News Agency, the four-day tournament, which ran from May 28 to May 31, featured more than 300 athletes from 31 countries. Competitors vied for medals in field and track events, as well as qualifying times and distances for the World Athletics U20 Championships, which will be held in August in the United States. The silver medal was claimed by Qatar's 4x400-meter relay team. Hamad Dawi secured the bronze in the discus throw. With these two additions, the Qatari national team brought its total haul at the championships to 10 medals: three gold, four silver, and three bronze.
