Saudi arabia: The US Central Command announced the launch of military strikes against targets inside Iran, while Washington affirmed its readiness to continue military operations if Tehran does not respond to the negotiating track.

According to Qatar News Agency, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the US would carry out powerful strikes against targets inside Iran in accordance with US operational considerations and interests, noting full coordination between the Department of Defense, the White House, and the US negotiating team.

He added that the strikes aim to bolster both the military and diplomatic positions and push Iran to accept an agreement, emphasizing that President Donald Trump has given Tehran an opportunity to reach a settlement, but is prepared to pursue military options if it refuses to respond.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported the activation of air defense systems in Fars province and the sound of explosions in several areas in the south of the country, including the vicinity of the cities of Minab and Sirik in Hormozgan province. They also reported the activation of air defenses west of the capital, Tehran.
