Ludwigslust: Two people were killed and more than 30 others were injured on Thursday in a hospital fire in northern Germany. Local authorities stated that a fire broke out in the roof structure of a hospital in Ludwigslust, resulting in the death of two people and injury to more than 30 others, though none suffered serious injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, evacuation of patients and staff from the building is still ongoing, the authorities added, noting that the total number of people evacuated remains unclear. The hospital has 160 beds. It is the only hospital in Ludwigslust and provides basic and standard medical care for the region.
