Gaza city: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,110, in addition to 173,599 injured.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that hospitals in the Strip received 8 bodies and 17 injuries over the past twenty-four hours. The total number of deaths since the ceasefire on Oct. 11 has risen to 1,084, with the number of injuries reaching 3,491. Additionally, 799 bodies have been recovered from the rubble of buildings destroyed by the conflict.
The sources also highlighted the presence of victims still trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews face challenges accessing these areas due to a lack of necessary equipment.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct. 11, yet occupation forces continue to violate the agreement by launching raids, artillery shelling, and heavy gunfire on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
