Erdogan stressed during the meeting that Turkey and Iraq, as neighboring countries, have taken steps to improve cooperation, which will benefit the two countries and the region, especially with the implementation of the Development Road Project and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism. He stressed the need for "solidarity of the international community in order to prevent Israel's efforts to spread conflicts in the region."
