Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron met with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who is visiting Paris, to discuss the outcomes of the G7 summit with Arab leaders. The discussions focused on the regional situation, particularly Lebanon, and the implications of the memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran on Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Prime Minister stated on his official X account that he and the French President agreed on the importance of creating suitable conditions for conferences aimed at supporting the Lebanese army and security forces, as well as for reconstruction initiatives.
