Doha: The price of gold in the Qatari market edged down by 4.11% during the current week, reaching $3989.35 per ounce, according to data issued by Qatar National Bank (QNB).

According to Qatar News Agency, the data showed that the price of gold fell from $4160.51 per ounce recorded last Sunday. It also indicated that other precious metals recorded weekly changes, with silver going down by 12.19%, to $57.03 per ounce, compared to $64.95 recorded early in the week, while platinum fell by 5.63%, reaching $1575.63 per ounce, compared to $1669.70 recorded last Sunday.
