Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index experiencing a decline of 17.02 points, bringing it to 8,742.73 points, a decrease of 0.19 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 368.9 million shares exchanged, with a value of KWD 96.2 million, approximately USD 313.2 million, across 22,468 transactions. The Main Market Index also faced a downturn, dropping by 61.43 points to 8,734.46 points, marking a decrease of 0.70 percent. This occurred through the trading of 175.5 million shares in 9,407 transactions, valued at KWD 28 million, roughly USD 91.1 million.
The Premier Market Index witnessed a lesser decline, losing 8.46 points to settle at 9,198.21 points, a decrease of 0.09 percent. Trading volume for the Premier Market was 193.3 million shares, executed through 13,061 transactions, with a total value of KWD 68.1 million, or approximately USD 221.7 million.
Additionally, the Bourse Main 50 Index saw a reduction of 42.90 points, closing at 9,701.06 points, a decrease of 0.44 percent. This was achieved with a stock volume of 155.9 million shares, conducted in 7,561 deals, totaling a value of KWD 24.7 million, roughly USD 80.4 million.
