Doha: The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) organized the "From Adoption to Impact Creation" event, marking the culmination of the National Cyber Security Training Program. This initiative is part of NCSA's ongoing efforts to enhance national capacity-building in cybersecurity and strengthen partnerships with government entities and key sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE President of the National Cyber Security Agency, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, recognized the top six entities and trainees for their contributions to the program. This recognition aims to foster a culture of appreciation and promote excellence in the field.
Director General Ahmed Mohammed Al Mutawa Al Hammadi emphasized the necessity of protecting Qatar's digital space to support the economy, society, and essential services, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030. He highlighted that the National Cyber Security Academy serves as a platform for developing competencies, with a training roadmap focused on artificial intelligence readiness and comprehensive skills development.
Dalal Abdulaziz Al Aqeedi, Assistant Director of Cybersecurity Policies and Strategies Department, stated that the Academy is committed to offering high-quality training programs through 2026, designed to meet the evolving needs of the cybersecurity field. She noted significant growth in the program, with 54,000 trainees and 100 beneficiary entities in the past year, alongside 800 professional certifications awarded to national talents.
The event unveiled the National Cyber Security Training Programs planned for 2026 and included a showcase of notable achievements and a keynote session on program development. Attendees engaged in interactive dialogue and Q and A sessions, facilitating communication with experts and exploring learning opportunities.
Participants had the opportunity for one-on-one meetings with experts, fostering deeper collaboration between the Academy and entities, sharing expertise, and aligning training programs with institutional needs. This initiative supports the NCSA's goal of building capable national talents to protect Qatar's digital space.
