Khan younis: A young Palestinian man was martyred Sunday by Israeli occupation gunfire in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the young man was martyred by Israeli army gunfire near the Bani Suhaila roundabout, east of Khan Younis. The incident adds to the growing number of casualties in the region.

The total number of Palestinians martyred since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 984, with 3,122 wounded and 783 bodies recovered. The ongoing tensions and violence have resulted in significant loss of life and injuries.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip by carrying out further assassinations, artillery shelling, airstrikes, and heavy gunfire across various areas of the Strip.
