Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE President of the Republic of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on the victims of the earthquake that struck the southern Philippines, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

According to Qatar News Agency, the communication expressed solidarity and sympathy with the people of the Philippines during this difficult time. The Prime Minister conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of Qatar and reiterated support for the nation as it deals with the aftermath of the natural disaster.
