Qatar Engages in Arab Forum on Administrative Justice in Cairo

Cairo: The State of Qatar took part in the inaugural Arab Forum for Administrative Justice and Integrity, hosted in Cairo under the theme 'Developing Administrative Investigation Skills and Promoting Governance Principles.' The forum is a pivotal event aimed at enhancing the role of administrative investigation in fostering transparency and accountability.

According to Qatar News Agency, Amna Abdulrahman Al Sulaiti represented Qatar as part of the Permanent Delegation to the Arab League during the forum. The event, organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization in collaboration with Egypt's Administrative Prosecution Authority, seeks to explore legal frameworks and practical applications associated with governance. It also aims to share best practices and experiences in refining disciplinary systems and advancing institutional integrity within governmental bodies.

The forum's discussions focused on the concept of good governance and its dimensions within public administration. Key topics included the role of administrative investigation as a tool to bolster governance in alignment with the United Nations Convention against Corruption 2003, and technical challenges in administrative investigation impacting governance effectiveness.
