Qatar Engages in Tashkent Forum to Boost Central Asian Economic Relations

Tashkent: The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is engaging in the fifth edition of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF 2026), held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. The forum spans three days under the theme 'Investment Resilience: New Horizons and New Partnerships.'

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar's participation underscores its commitment to strengthening economic ties with Uzbekistan and enhancing its presence in Central Asia, recognized as an emerging and rapidly expanding investment hub. The forum assembles senior government officials, global investors, and multilateral institutions to highlight investment opportunities in crucial sectors including financial infrastructure, energy sector transformation, trade corridors, logistics services, and industrial development.
